Why You Feel Hungrier in the Summer

Do you feel that you eat or, or tend to overindilge more, in the summer?

You're not alone! In fact, this is very common.

This is not your fault, and it's not due to you lacking discipline. Watch as Heidi breaks down the reason this occurs and what you can do to prevent overindulging by fighting summer hunger. 👇

A big reason this phenomenon occurs is due to increased sweating and loss of electrolytes.

This causes you to feel increased hunger, when really, you're just dehydrated!

This can also happen when you're not getting enough protein early in the day, causing you to feel less satiated.

What You Can Do

The most important thing you can do to prevernt overeating in the summer is ask yourself 'Do I actually need food right now?'

Your body may simply need hydration and nutrients first.

To summarize the tips Heidi goes through, here are the two mort important things you can do to help prevent increased hunger in the summer:

  1. Increase your protein, preferably early in the day
  2. Increase your electrolytes and hydration

It's important to remember that this is not a willpower issue, and it's not just a YOU issue.

This is a struggle that can be prevented through proper nutrition. 🙌
